I feel like I keep having to make disclaimers here because of these comics, but really I'm sooo happy at school. It's hard and it's challenging, but I love it. Even when I don't get the kind of grades I'm used to. :) This is my last year of school unless I decide to start my PhD. I found myself staring down the possibility of being done with this phase of my life, entering into the work force, becoming a productive member of society... And I'm like nooooo, I'm not ready! It's been so much fun! Even though it's hard work and stressful, there's a peacefulness and protection from the outside world in academic life. School has been a place of safety for me and I've grown in this sheltered garden of classes, learning, and silliness. I'm ready to face the challenges ahead, but I'll miss this time.
